Glove compartment will not open 850 1994

You need to CAREFULLY pry the glove box lid away with a large crow-bar, and saw the wire lock brace in 2. Use some thick cardboard to protect the dash. Then you must replace these components...

Glove Box Latch Kit (6818224-5; $38.41)
Lock Brace (6818223-7; $3.83)

I used one of those one-handed saw handles that holds a hack saw blade, i.e. the blade sticks out of the end, unsupported (hard to explain, sorry)
