850/70s that are not for shiftless people....

I was looking over the production numbers for 850s on Bill Garlands web site and found that it appeared the 95-96 850 Turbo came with either the m56 or the auto.

Do you know if this is true? Was the car available in the US? Just wondering since the specifics about the model aren't in the production database (numbers, regions, etc.)
