A FEW Mech Probs 850 1994

Hi Stu,

If you don't have a Haynes manual you can get them for around $15-$20 on Ebay or a local autoparts store. They aren't perfect but they do provide a lot of insight and pretty good instruction.

My mileage (95 turbo wagon, 83,000m) is about 20mpg and I need a front 02 sensor also.

Don't know what to tell you about your cooling system. If the radiator is showing signs of corrosion I'd consider replacing it and the hoses. Might as well do the thermostat also. If you don't have the green coolant recovery tank cap, (meaning you have the grey one) replace it now. The gray cap can distort and cause a sudden loss of pressure which will result in an instant boil-over.

At 100k I'd be thinking about suspension components like bushings, tie rod ends, shock / strut mounts. Some guys are having problems with these by now, some later.

This site, Bay 13 and Ozbrick offer many tips that can save many hundreds of dollars in labor costs if you're willing to DIY or learn to.

Good luck
