Poor AM radio sensitivity S80

Let me tell you that you are not alone with this AM problem.

I am not certain, but since AM is such a bugger on our cars, Volvo will (may) stand for repairs after your warranty expires if you have a documented case before warranty expired. (And it sounds as though you may.) Mine is also out of warranty and the dealer did work on it recently. (Didn't do much good, but there was some improvement.)

I would contact your dealer to see if they will go to bat for you. Good luck!
