Did you try the door switch as well as the console switch? Unlikely that both are bad at the same time. I get my switch packs from the junk yard for $50.00. I use Volvo and Saab Auto Dismantlers in Rancho Cordova, Ca 800 700 volvo.
They have motors too. I also take the switch pack apart, take the switches apart and polish the contacts (they get fried). I keep a spare around 'cause they go bad about once a year. Depends on how bad the window motor inductive load is. Some cars are worse than others
