More ABS woes V70-XC70 1998

Seems like the ABS failed to operate, and reverted to manual (conventional) braking. The fact that you have an intermittent ABS/TRACS light would suggest the controller. But you may want to check out ABS sensors and connections in order to rule them out (or have your mechanic do it). That said, I suspect the controller. Why doesn't Volvo recall these?!?
