OBD II codes 300-305 S70 1998

All Data tells me that those codes translate to Volvo's VADIS codes of ECM-35X3, where X is the cylinder number for the misfiring condition. All of these codes have the same diagnostics procedures listed:

Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-35X3 is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the engine misfires so badly that there is a risk of damaging the three-way catalytic converter (TWC). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) indicates which cylinder(s) has/have misfired.

Condition
three-way catalytic converter (TWC) diagnosis shut off
leakage diagnosis shut off
rear heated oxygen sensor control shut off
fuel trim shut off

Possible source
defective spark plugs
blocked/leaking injector
uneven compression
air leakage
faulty fuel pressure
low fuel level
water in spark plug wells
contaminated or faulty fuel
repeated cold starting where the engine coolant temperature (ECT) has not reached normal operating temperature between starts

Condition
malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) flashes
engine misfires
engine difficult to start
poor performance
uneven idle
engine not firing on all cylinders

You really need an All Data subscription to go along with that OBDII checker. See http://www.alldatadiy.com/
