Check Engine Light ON ... why?????

There have been a lot of Brake control (ABS) modules lately. The engine/trans ECU'S rely on road speed info from this module to regulate injection and shifting. Or, it could be any of several hundred other possibilities. Possible software glitch. If there are no "stop immediately" messages, it's probably safe to drive. However, if you are uncomfortable, give On call a call, and tow to the nearest dealer for diagnosis.
