A/C Phenomenon Solved? 850 1995

I have the same problem with my 1999 S70. They say there is a thermo switch in the compressor to protect it from overheating. The compressor will come back on after the compressor cools down. The compressor is probably not overheating however the thermo switch is bad and can not be replaced. I read somewhere that in warm weather climates the Volvo techs have found a way to bypass the thermoswitch in the compressor.
