ALL ENCOMPASSING VIBRATION

This just started. I have an extremely loud and strong vibration from the vehicle when I am in the middle of braking and continues until I am fully stopped. This only happens when I am stopping from approx. 35mph or slower. It currently does not happen all the time. Coincidentally or maybe not, my coolant light has flashed on about 3 or 4 times in the last day. Flashes on for approx 2 sec. and then goes off. Does coolant in the 850 also cool the tranny? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
