Who is right???? 850

1. If tranny goes bad who pays to fix it and makes the money?
2. What can possibly deliver 1000 psi to the tranny? I suggest pushing 10,000 psi into Jim-Bob rear end and checking for results.
3. I guess Sir Lancelot has the time and desire to crawl under the car for days on end.
4. If more stable AFT and cooler running tranny appeals to you than for $100 worth of synthetic ATF you can have it. If burning AFT and hot tranny is what you perefer then don't bother even checking the fluid. Tranny will run much warmer with less fluid.
5. Master mech IV likes hot trannies and brown ATF. He's choice.
6. Where is item 6?
7. The real deal is that a tranny cost $2500 to fix and it is you who will pay for this and the dealer will keep the difference between his cost and the repair cost that you will pay. $100 every two to three years is a cheap insurance agaist tranny failure. Tranny may still fail but at least you've done the best to prevent it. BTW, no one expects immortality just because they have a life insurance.
