Very easy to check on Remote compatibility.
Read the part number in the back usually 9......
only one part number remotes work on a particular model year. They are all unique. So if your old one works, the new one must have same part number in order to work.
I have an early '94 850 TURBO WAGON, a later '94 will not work with mine. My remote has a P/N 3.....
In fact I got a P/N 9..... from e-bay. I found out the hard way that it does not work. I need to sell it.
