if they are the same size I would think it should work. All I know is the radios on the 97 850s are very easy to remove and install. Push in on the recessed vertical " rectangles" on the face plate of the radio and they will pop out giving you little handles to pull the unit out. The rest is just a matter of unhooking the wire harness.
