I am having the same problem. I have not noticed if the LED blinks after 5 turns, should it? I got my car 2 months ago, the remote hasn'nt worked since but the alarm does if I unlock it through the window and open the door. I am close to going to Volvo and purchasing the new remote. I am not sure of thier return policy(anyone?) in case this is not the issue. My old remotes might have been dropped one too many times, I hope :). Why did yours stop working, any ideas? Good luck- Stu.
