You mean that you saw them cut it opened, remove the clear rubbery material that covers the circuit board and proceed to replace the circuit board OR do you mean that you saw them replace the module as an assembly (4 screws) from the pump motor?
If you saw someone cut the unit opened, where was this done? They then replaced ONLY the circuit board, not the complete part as a whole?
