Daytime Running Lights 850 1996

Full power - headlights, tail lights, and instrument panel lights...all headed for premature burnout because of Volvo's careless implementation. The company that does it best is, oddly, GM. They use pulsed 60% power to the high beams, or occasionally to dedicated DRLs. Both these ideas make sense.

I wired the foglights in both my Volvos for independent operation and use them instead of headlights for DRLs.
