Very interesting! My ABS/Tracs lights were coming on a couple of times a week for a month or so. Would stay on until the ignition was cycled off and back on. Before ordering a new ABS computer, I took the ABS electrical connecter off to see what was under it. Not really learning anything, I wrote down the part number of the unit and put the connecter back on. After about a week (and before getting around to ordering a new unit) I noticed that the light(s) hadn't come back on. I tested both the ABS and Tracs on wet pavement and they worked just fine. It's now been about two months of light-free driving. I'm guessing taking the connecter off and reinstalling resulted in a better electrical connection. (Knock on wood.) I'll definitely clean the contacts if the light(s) reappear. But, until then I'm not touching anything!
