Yep, makes sense. I suppose going to the cigarette lighter, um, er,
"power adaptor socket", would work. Might be harder to get to. It
is switched with the accessory portion of the ignition, too. Other then
that, I'm not sure what you would tap off of in the dash area where the
switch is being mounted.
