Bob,
Listen to Davidm and others. Contact the nhtsb and volvo and let them know about this defective part. If enough of us complain about this defective safety part- remember when the light is on you do NOT have any anti- lock brake function. Many loyal multiple volvo owners like myself will NOT be buying a new volvo because they refuse to repair a defective safety related part. And safety is one of the main reasons we purchase a Volvo.
