Just a question for anyone with a 2.0i M Reg 440-when my engine is ticking over when im stationary, i.e. in traffic or in the driveway, there seems to be a tapping noise coming from in and around the inlet manifold. The revs sit at comfortably at 900 and the car runs fine-although you can hear the tapping at the same volume whilst driving. Any help or advice would b appreciated-I dont like my car sounding like a 10 year old Escort!! Cheers, Dan (UK).
