If it is a loose gas cap just tighten it at least 3 clicks and drive the car. After several days of use the code will clear itself once the ECU does not see a recurrance of the problem. If the code does not clear after several days of driving and the cap is tight then you probably have a problem elsewhere. The gas tank is a pressurized system and OBDII software monitors the pressure level. A loose or bad gas cap or pressure sensor are several possibilities.
