I have a similar amount of underhood corrosion, so I looked at mine, and the sensor was still in on piece, however the on the harness attached to the connector, the electrician's tape was coming loose. (My first thought was: What kind of half-***** repair did my dealer do here??" but I saw that ALL the connectors including yours by the photos are put together that way! Anyway, I replaced the Volvo Euro-eco tape with the finest 'merican 3M electrical tape, hopefully that will save me yet another electrical malady!
