You can aquire a Volvo to alpine adapter (as the OEM decks are actually Alpine with a different adapter...so that you "have" to buy a Volvo deck). If the Sony changer will communicate on this interface, it should be all good. I believe it's possible I may have once seen an 850 (later model) with a 6 or 10 disc sony changer on the factory head.
