Easing up on gas when automatic transmission changes gears 850

I noticed this also. If I pull away by letting down on the throttle half way down and leave it there, the car "jerks" through the first two gears. If I let off on the throttle just a tad before she shifts, it goes a lot smoother. I just wish she went through the gears like the Audi A series.....smoooooth.
