All that code means in A2 is that there's another code stored in A1, the trans ECU. Have you checked for trans codes? I doubt that there's a wiring problem between ECUs. (MIL=malfunction indicator lamp).
I weak battery will set fault codes too so I'd start with getting that resolved.
