Electrical system going haywire 850 1995

A problem I had on my '96 850 was battery draining every few days. Thanks to a bit of luck, finally traced it to the glovebox light being on at all times due to bent glovebox door. Checking if the light is on was near impossible so I just jammed some toothpicks in switch to keep it depressed and, bingo, it fixed my problem.
