Starter replacements..... how often??????????? 850

My 96 850 GLT Wagon (non turbo)74K Miles has been having problems starting in the morning.

The battery is in perfect condition, when i turn the key nothing happens!!! The car does not turn over!!! I keep trying and after a couple of tries it will turn over and then start fine anytime after that.

Anyways, I spoke with my Volvo dealer and he told me that he has not seen a lot of starter problems with 850 Volvos.

So here is my questions

1: How many have had their starters replaced and at what miles?

2: What else could this be if it is not a starter (the battery has a full charge)

Any help would be appreciated.
