Do you include taxes, higher insurance rates, and the $2000 to $3000 difference in depreciation between the two cars in your comparison?
Does the car not satisfy your needs, or do you just want a new car? (Not really a bad thing, just expensive.)
I am getting rid of two of my cars, but we are talking about 740s that are 12 and 14 years old. One is starting to have some wiring problems and the other is running short of compression. Those are basic problems that occur near the end of a car's life, you have a long way to go before you get there. Our "new" car is a '96 with 91,000 miles on it.
If you want to see another point of view, visit the RWD forum for a while and look at some of the fine 740s and 240s in the gallery. These owners are just as happy as the S80 owners!
