Tire Rub S60

I have the same car ('01 S60) and I ordered my car with 17" rims from the factory and I have no rubbing problems. I understand that there are different "steering stops" for different wheel sizes so it's possible that when the change was made at the dealer you have 17" wheels" with 16" wheel stops. This could be causing your problem.
