Since I moved from Miami to Atlanta two weeks ago, I noticed that every time I’m going up a steep inclines (which is 95% of the time due to Georgia’s terrain) I hear pinging noise coming from my engine as if I had cheap gas. Now I have never experience this in Miami because I never had an incline to drive up (Miami has flat land). Does anyone know what cause this & how to fix it? For what its worth I only use the highest grade gas available & 10-40 motor oil.
Also Since it is 40 degrees here in Atlanta is there anything that I need to change to make my car adapt to this type of climate opposed to the 90 degrees temp in Miami.
