I guess I'm a bit late on this post.

I bought an early S60 LPT after driving my gf's 850 for a week (vacation, my 240dl wasn't up for task and my firebird got terrible mileage) and I haven't regretted it one day.

My S60 weighed 4000 pounds w/ half a tank of gas and my 245 pound butt in it last time at the track. Good news is it will run a 15.5 consistently.

I love my interior hands down over the 850 s/70 neither do it for me like the S60. Mine is just so much cleaner looking, though the 850's aren't ugly by any standard.

Mine has 2 rattles that I haven't had time to fix, actually one was fixed the second is the plate around the shifter. It's easy, just haven't had time to get to it.

I hate to say it, but my gf's n/a 850 pulls almost as hard as a LPT above 55 or so. These turbo's are a bit undersized, hence the Low Pressure, idea but still it pulls hard up till 125. Really great cruiser about 80 mph, speed up, just move your big toe.

The brakes were touchy at first, though they have broken in nice, I rather like them and hope they keep em. Only time it's annoying is when your foot itches, and your twisting your foot, scrapping it on the brake pedal, that always assures a sudden jerky panic stop.

Styling, love em both, but brick shape aside the S60 wins hands down. If only the S70's had black grilles....I think thats half of what I like (course, you can always swap a XC grille).
