I headed out in my car this morning during a heavy rain, happened to look in the passenger floor board and it was STANDING in water. Mind you, this wasnt a little bit of water but about 2-3 inches! I checked all over the car and there didnt seem to be a leak.


But last week at the mechanics, I mentioned the long piece that came out of my sunroof about 2 years ago and asked them about putting it back in. The response was pretty much "Leave it alone". Well, I mustve caught them on a slow day because I noticed that the inside cover was back on it when I picked it up and the part was no longer in the car. So I am assuming that the sunroof was "fixed" without showing up on my bill.....I called and told them that the roof didnt seem wet at all, no where aruiond the windshield, windows, etc. He mentioned the wiper drain and condenser. I havent used the AC in a while so I know it isnt that and there didnt appear to be any trash around the wiper drain.

I dont think the *missing* piece on the sunroof and the floor board full of water is a coincidence....So is there a quick fix that I can do without taking it back to the shop which is 40 miles away?

I'm through mopping and squeezing the water out of the carpet and underlieing foam.....what a mess!
