Very unusual 850

To date, the lowest mileage I've seen a 850/x70 type ball joint fail was 46K miles (EXLUDING S80s) and being that that car also had both outer tie rod ends also worn, loose I suspect that the owner drives on some very bad roads. Most ball joints last over 100K+ miles.
Are you using OEM Volvo parts? Are you sure the ball joint's the problem?
