To answer your questions, yes I was getting a CEL with a 4-3-5 (front sensor) code and yes I did order a Bosch 02 sensor. No special tools needed but a tight squeeze getting the connector in place on a turbo.

Jay, check for codes. You don't have to have a CEL for there to be codes stored. BTW, I think Bosch claims about 30k for a replacement interval. Volvo might also.
