Something else to check... Mine used to occasionally fail to start mostly when cold (first start of the day), but a couple of times when the engine was warm too. I checked for spark at the plugs...nothing, pulled the centre wire from the distributor, checked it against the frame and found a very healthy spark. Plugged in back in/out a couple of times and it fired right up. Hasn't happened much since, tho i do have a new rotor/cap to put on and the original cap and wires now has lasted 170K kms!
