tim- unless you're an audiophile, some very good replacement speakers should fit your needs w/o amps, crossover, equalizers, etc. I replaced all my speakers(xcept the dash-board tweeters) with Infiity kappa(5.25" in the doors) and Polks(5x7 in the rear deck). all from circuity city for about $90 a pair + install. I'm running the sc-901 head unit in my 850 w/3cd changer and plans to add the Infinity BassLink power-sub for Christmas. As of now the sound is very good but lacks some bass, thus the basslink. It looks all stock and fit my needs. total cost will be about $800 after everything.
