Funny that you caught the typo but didn't read the rest of my post!!
I said tear the guts out, (lose the regular 6), and drop in a turbo 6 (similar to the S80, but souped up and RWD!). It certainly would be cheaper than trying to convert the 850 into a RWD as he suggested. As you know the basic engine design is the same, so many of the 960 engine problems (less the leaky block fiasco) did migrate to the L5 version (oil pump o-rings, lawn mower syndrome, fuel rail end plug, etc).
