MY2003 XC70 Haldex

As I understand it, you still need to be concerned about variation in tire size.

The Haldex system won't be *damaged* if your tires are different enough in size (a known problem with the viscous coupling system), but the AWD won't engage.

Does the '03 with Haldex provide any indication if the AWD isn't engaging?
