I love my 2001 2.4T for all the same reasons that you listed and more!!! How about the great downshifts at low speed with its "superb transmission". The brakes indeed will stop you on a dime rather you want to or not. Were else but the Volvo dealer could I spend so little (right!) and get so much personality in a grocery getter? I love my Volvo!!!
