door lamp switch S70 1998

I have a 98,S70,T5. Some times it takes 3 or 4 times of opening & closing the
passengers side door to make the door lamp go off. The lamp is located
under the dash, and activated by the door sensor/switch. Does anyone know were
the sensor/switch is located or how it works. I cannot see any switches around
the door area ?????
