BRAKE BLEEDING

If the rotors appear to have a straight cut across one edge - this is done to balance the rotor during high spped rotation.

If the mechanic allowed air into the system, there might be air trapped within the ABS pump/tubing. This could allow a spongy feeling.

Also, I believe that OEM pads are a bit softer and will stop quicker but produce more dust. Aftermarket pads tend to be harder, stop slower, and produce less dust.
