Terrible screeching on startup!!! 850 1996

jeez......i have a 96 854 turbo sedan and it does the exact same thing you described ONLY on VERY COLD MORNINGS 33/32 degrees F or lower. this morning, it was 29 here in n virginia and the car did the grinding noise thing. it did it last february too but i forgot all about it because when warmer weather set it, it stopped doing it. please let me know if you find the cause.
