Resurface brake rotor

The information you received is correct. For some reason Volvo rotors seem to be very fragile and prone to warping. If your brake pads are warn, just slap on a new pair w/o turning the rotors. I've been told that you should replace rotors after two pad replacements or sooner depending on yourbraking habits. And only replace with Volvo pads (and rotors), others cause squeaking and rotor warpage.

Make sure "seat" your brakes upon replacement i.e. short gradual stops. Don't get them too hot for the first 25 miles or your rotors will warp. Take it from me, I've had to replace rotors and pads twice in one year.

This time I smartened up and went with Volvo Parts to avoid the perpetual squeak. The parts were more expensive but well worth it.
