Surging Engine on S80 at WOT

Actually, I had not had an opportunity to get to WOT in my 1999 S80 T6 until I was passing some trucks on a back road a couple of weeks ago. I did experience the surging you spoke of. My fuel filter is almost new.

I recently cleaned the Throttle Body to fix an idle surging/cold idle problem. My throttle response under moderate to hard acceleration (not quite WOT) has improved noticably since cleaning the TB. Next chance I have to try WOT, I'll report back.

As for the software, I have had a great deal of difficulty trying to find out from the dealer if my s/w is all up to date. When I ask, they say "Yeah, it's fine, you're all up to date", but somehow, I don't have much confidence that they really checked.
