Sounds just like the problem I had, the A/C compressor cycling on/off due to low coolant. A/C evaporator leak is common problem with our cars, expect to pay between $800 and $1k at good shop. You should find many posts in this forum on this problem. Your dealer may not find this "common" problem until your warranty is over :-) Good Luck.
