CD wont eject from SC-815 850 1996

I just bought a used 1996 850 glt wagon (great car!) The first day I had it, I play several cds with no problem. The next day it would not eject a cd I left in over night. Pressing the CD button displays "EE" on the screen and pressing the cd eject button only switches it back to radio mode. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
