Motive Power Bleeding Q

It all seems very easy, and I'm about to do it, but...

What happens at the end of bleeding? They say to tip the container if fluid is left, then open the bleeder valve until the container stops sending fluid and the master cyl res. is at Max. This seems like a 2 person ordeal to finish it up job.

Is it possible to just release the pressure in the bleeder container, and use a baster to siphon out extra fluid? What happens when you release pressure in the container - does it suck fluid out of the system? What do you all do? Is the ending really this traumatic?

Thanks!
KC
