OBD II drive cycle 850 1997

I am confused as hell now. To perform corectly I have to drive one complete cycle, let the vehicle cool down to below 50 degrees celicius and perorm the drive cycle again ? I have only been performing one cycle then driving my vehicle. Will this invalidate the data from the first drive cycle ?
Helllllp me please !!!
