Engine Cuts Out Under Hard Acceleration 850

Mine recently started to do this, too (98 T5M).
My thermostat is broke so my car is running cold and
I figured that might be it (limiting boost while
engine is cold).

Any chance your car is also running cold with a
failed thermostat (the temp needle will be around
4 or 5 o'clock if the thermostat is stuck open)?
