brakes S80

I don't see how low brake pads can drop the brake pedal.
It is a hydraulic system and as the pads wear more
fluid moves into the brake caliper. What drops is the
brake fluid level in the brake fluid resevoir. The brake
pedal always comes back up to the top since it is used to
pump fluid into the brake lines.

Also, Volvos do need pretty frequent pad replacement so
you should still have the pads checked. The rotors last
about two sets of pads and are then replaced. Volvo
rotors are not typically turned or re-surfaced.
